I don't want it to take away from the content and message. And Meditations is quite existential at times. Like these were his innermost thoughts as the most powerful and influential person on earth at his time. Also he wrote all of this inbetween his campaigns and warfare. But thank you! The tone and reading pace/dynamics are a bit monotonous. I don’t know your nationality, but it’s a very German approach to reading. I think an improvement could be to vary the intonation and pace more to make it less monotonous.
