space engine is on steam, there used to be a free version but that is no more
that version was quite light on system resources all things considered but the steam version is VERY resource intensive

I believe UFOs are probably top secret military craftwork. But if I am wrong.... I highly doubt we would be able to properly communicate with such alien life. Extraterrestrial beings may not even be able to live on our planet due to ecosystem differences. If there are UFOs that are not from this world they could be AI-controlled, possibly acting as some beacon to send back information from wherever they were sourced. Any other life out there visiting us would have to be centuries more advanced technologically.

my thoughts on post2047: there are many of thories describing the state of space "before big bang". all of general relativity solutions, extended back in time, gave us the state of universe called singularity = what author called "absolutely nothing". there's also a possibility of infinite sequence of big bangs proposed by loop quantum gravity. and also a possibility that our universe has budded off from some parent universe in multiverse proposed by some string/brane theories. all we can do from scientific point of view - conduct experiments (on dark matter, quantum effects in black holes and so on) and test hypotheses to understand which theory are more correct. and while we move closer to the truth, then larger would be the probability that one of these variants is correct. that's all we can do.
